FEATURED AUTHORS
****************************************************************************

'Writing Bodies/ Reading Bodies' will feature two women authors.

PROFESSOR SUSAN SELLERS
Susan Sellers is Professor of English and Related Literature at the University of St Andrews. Her areas of specialisation include contemporary critical theory, modernist and contemporary women's fiction, feminism, and creative writing.
Susan Sellers' novel, "Vanessa and Virginia", a fictional account of the sibling rivalry that existed between Virginia Woolf and the painter Vanessa Bell, was published in 2008 by Two Ravens and is forthcoming in the United States from Harcourt, New York. At our conference, Susan will focus particularly on the way her novel uses Vanessa Bell's paintings to reimagine the relationship between the sisters, including her featureless portraits of Virginia and her nudes. For more information about Susan and her work, please visit
